A farmhouse fitted for the blues.

It's in the middle of heatstroke in Wellington, but recording time has arrived for Gerald, The Deadmen and company. They are taking their ideas and vintage equipment to a lovely farmhouse in Wellington – Simon Orange's home sweet home actually. They will be enjoying jam sessions and battling the heat for the next two weeks.

Clark decided to use an old farmhouse for his 4th album to bring the aesthetics of his live shows into the studio. The house lends a different flavour to the music and an atmosphere for each muso to be as creative as possible. According to Gerald, the house just comes with a certain vibe! The farmhouse has great acoustics and it gave the band the opportunity to connect, seeing as the farm is on the outskirts of Wellington.
